Health information (including but not limited to: mobility restrictions, hearing or visual impairments, mental or physical health conditions, specific learning difficulties, food allergies or intolerances) may be freely and voluntarily given by any client when signing up for any service provided by One Paw Before the Other. This health information is requested to be given, where freely agreed to by the client, to ensure that all training sessions, advice and/or information is delivered to the client in a way which is as safe and successful as is reasonably possible. This health information will be held securely (and destroyed when appropriate) in line with this privacy policy, and the client may request at any time to have this personal health information amended or destroyed.

Where we get personal information from

How long we keep information
Information is stored electronically for 5 years. This 5 year period starts at the end of the calendar year in which the information was first received, and finishes at the end of the fifth calendar year after the information was received. Information is kept for this period in order to comply with our business records obligations. You maintain all of your data protection rights as outlined above, including the right to have your information amended or erased, however One Paw Before the Other maintains the right to reject any request where there remains a legal obligation to retain that information, such as to comply with financial or other regulations. In this or any similar situation one Paw Before the Other will request advice from an appropriate external body.
